Anthony 5th birthday was the 12th of September. We had a lot of fun. He is enjoying school. We decided to send him another year of preschool because he is close to the cut-off date and we feel that he is not ready to go for a full day of school. He loves school and the school bus. Before his 5th birthday I did a grade reading level test and he scored a 3rd - 4th grader reading level. His teacher says he reads up to 3 sylable words. Anthony enjoys reading to his class and his classmates enjoy listening to him. February 27, 2007 Anthony started a new school to help him better with his needs. Anthony loves to read. He reads faster than when he first started reading. December 14, 2006 It seems as Anthony's interest in spelling words have helped him in reading. Yes, you've heard right. Anthony is now reading his books and Anything he sees while we are out. If he can't read a word he tried to break it d..d..d..o..o..w..n..n.. and if he still can say it that's where he asks for help. His favorite book seems to be "Are you my mother" by Dr. Seuss. He also likes reading other short stories "Jack and Jill", "Humpty Dumpty", "Little Boy Blue", "Mrs. Muffet?" and many more. He seems to enjoy reading as he smiles while he reads. November 21, 2006 Anthony is starting to read. First he memorized some very short stories and started to follow the words with his fingers. His Speech Therapist is amazed that he is reading. He can count up to 100. Not only can he count, he also recognizes the numbers and can tell you any random number. For example 86. I say that one thing is countinuesly counting and another knowing what and that you counting. His teachers are also amazed of how much he knows. He would be ahead of everyone if only he was emotionally ready for some things at school. He has many fears that we are working for him to overcome them. He does love school a lot. We still have the rest of the school year and summer to work with him. He is a fast learner, hopefully he will catch up. October 30, 2006 Anthony will be starting his speech therapy Monday evenings. Today he is dressing up as a cowboy for his Halloween school parade. It seems as thought this week Anthony is reading a Cherrios book he has. He has memorized words and reads them slowly. So cute. Anthony now knows the months of the year. October 06, 2006 Anthony learned how to spell his first name today. This week he also learned how to spell his last name. It took him like a minute to learn how to spell his name. At preschool he is doing pretty well. The only problem is that he doesn't want to open his eyes when he goes to wash his hands. They have the cutest little potty and sink. His first day at school was fun for him. The second day he was cranky because he wanted to take something with him. The rest of the days have been great for him. He has learned how to ride his bike. He still needs to practice how to brake. September 26, 2006 Wow, I can't believe that a year has passed already from the last time I updated this site. Well, my Anthony is now 4 years old. He had such a great birthday. He also started preschool this year. He is the second youngest in his class. He is very smart, but he has difficutly communicating though speech and his motor skills are not that great. His teachers say that he is very bright and knows his letter and numbers. Other kids are still having difficulties with that. He loves his school and can't wait to go there as soon as he wakes up in the morning. September 12, 2005 Today is Anthony's third B-day. I can't belive he is three. Well so far we don't have anything special planned. Spending the day together would be nice, maybe going out to buy him some chicken nuggets and fires. He love cake. Development: Anthony still knows the whole alphabet he learned at 2 1/2. He also knows his numbers 1-12, shapes, colors, and a bunch of other stuff. He has a great memory. A few weeks ago, I put a way his train set in a bag. This past week I took the bag out of his room. Before I opened it to see what was inside, he told me "train, train". Living situation: We will be moving to another apartment the 15th. We are so happy, we won't have annoying neighbors. It's a first level apartment, ground level. No basement. It has cetral heat and air, dishwasher, new laundry washing machines and dryers, and ample parking spaces. It's going to be great. July 24, 2004 Anthony: I went to the Zoo today. I love the pigs, the sheep and the parrots. I had so much fun. My mummy and dada forgot to bring the camera. We saw a huge elk, he was so pretty. We also saw a stinky fox. All the animals were cute but my favorite were the baby pigs. They were playing, running around chasing eachother. They made me laugh so hard that I had to turn my face away acouple of times. But everytime I looked back they made me laugh again. Mommy: On July 12, Athony turned 22 months. At this time Anthony can count from 1-10. I test him by picking a random number and asking him what number it is, he always gives me the correct number. This is one his favorite games. He also knows how to read and spell "word" and "book". Anthony is very talktive, he talks all day and all night. I never get tired of hearing what he has to say. Also at this time he has learned names of animals and their sounds. For example I ask him, "What animal is this?". He says, Owl. I ask him again, "What does the owl say?". He says, "hoo, hoo". I just love all his sounds, specially his Kitty sound. June 25, 2004 Anthony: Hello and welcome to my Scrapbook. Please sign my guestbook so I know that you were here. Good news everyone, I am up to date on my teeth. I have all the teeth I am supposed to have. I am waiting for my 24 months molars. Mommy: I have been updating this site everyday. I am drawing my own graphics and posting them here. I love to draw. My art teacher never liked my drawings, he always said I needed to draw darker and messier. May 24, 2004 Hi everybody, we have a new guestbook. Please sign my guestbook. I am wery happy this week. I have some teeth poking twough. I love going to the Y, its fun. I wove playing with other babies my age. Tawking about babies, I have good news. I am going to have a baby cousin soon. My cousin might be bown awound my biwthday. I am so happy. December 06, 2002  Anthony Kenneth Eilers was born on Thursday, September 12th 2002 at 9:23 pm. Good thing he was born on a good day between two bad ones after Sept. 11th and before Friday the 13th. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and measured 19 3/4" long. Right now his eye color is baby gray. My due date was September 28, 2002.
